  Description:
  
  Come join a national supply chain company with huge growth plans. Our client is looking for a high performing Transportation Manager to head up their facility. This position will have four direct reports, 30 drivers and will be responsible for cross dock operations as well. If this aligns with your background and expectations, please apply!
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions for the account
  - Manages the performance of both salaried managers/supervisors and company drivers
  - Coordinates closely with customers and area personnel to identify needs and investigate and solve problems
  - Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements
  - Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
  - Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  
  Qualifications:
  
  - Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (5+ years)
  - 3+ years' experience in P&L management
  - 3+ years' experience in customer service and/or sales in the logistics field
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Exceptional communication skills
  - Excellent leadership abilities
  - Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
