Due to expansive growth, this well-known off-price retailer throughout the Southeast is seeking a buyer for their Accessories Division! They are looking for someone with strong experience in both off-price and accessories.
If you have a track record of success in the footwear category and experience in buying for a large Department Store Chain, Big Box Retailer or Discount Retailer you could be taking your career to the next level with this rewarding opportunity!
This company is located in a vacation like spot within the Southeast!
If the following list of requirements meets your skill level this could be a job match for you.
- 2+ years of prior retail chain buying experience in Accessories with a department store, Off-Price, or big box retailer
- Strong vendor negotiation skills
- Buying or Category Manager experience in Apparel or Accessories categories within retail.
- Track record of success in creating a profitable merchandise mix utilizing forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning
- Flexible and adaptable team player with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
