  Position: Director of Transportation

  Salary: Highly Competitive Base + Bonus
  
  Description:
  
  We're working with a well known supply chain organization in search of a Director of Transportation. Our client is looking for a high performing individual to lead a team of 4 direct reports, 25 indirect reports, and a fleet of 200+ drivers. Experience in a high-volume distribution setting will be preferred.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Create and oversee an industry leading transportation team
  - Oversee all operations and customer service
  - Train and develop Managers and Directors
  - Drive KPI performance and cost-reduction strategies
  - Foster a safety first culture
  - Build and foster relationships with customer(s)
  
  MUST Haves:
  
  - 10+ years of transportation/logistics experience
  - Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  - Full P&L and budget responsibilities
  - Strategic thinker and can execute on high level company initiatives
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Excellent communication and leadership skills
  - Systems savvy
  - Excellent problem solving skills
  - Ability to inspire and develop future leaders
  - Strong customer service skills
