  Position: Transportation Supervisor

  Description:
  
  We're working with a well known transportation company that's been leading this industry for the last 100+ years. The search is for an experienced Transportation Supervisor to come in and lead one of their largest dedicated accounts that continues to grow. This individual will have 20 company drivers as direct reports. Our client offers upward mobility and advancement opportunities from this position.
  
  Candidates with a background in heavy haul, specialized equipment, or car hauling will be preferred.

  Responsibilities:
  
  - Plans, directs, and oversees transportation functions for the account
  - Developing great relationships with the drivers and leaders of their client
  - Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact account performance
  - Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
  - Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  
  Qualifications:
  
  - Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (2-4 years)
  - Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Exceptional communication skills
  - Excellent leadership abilities
