  Our client is looking for a high potential Transportation Manager/Director who can come in and make a huge impact on key metrics, driver relations, and facility initiatives. This will oversee a private fleet of 75+ drivers and a team of salaried reports.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  - Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions of the location
  - Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  - Coordinates closely with customers and area personnel to identify needs and investigate and solve problems
  - Measures and develops game plans to improve KPI’s
  - Ensures on-time delivery
  
  Qualifications:
  
  - 5+ years’ in transportation management with private fleets
  - Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  - Union experience preferred
  
  Skills/Abilities:
  
  - Exceptional communication skills
  - Ability to solve problems in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  - Excellent leadership abilities
  - Strong with transportation management systems/software
